Crofton Elementary is the highlight of Crofton village located on Vancouver Island. Taking advantage of the natural sloping topography, this 1 ½ storey school for 175 students features a double heighted library, gymnasium and multipurpose space. All the classrooms have views of Salt Spring Island and the Strait of Georgia. This school promotes sustainable features such as natural ventilation by way of stack effect and a solar wall for additional heating.

This project was delivered by Grant + Sinclair Architects Ltd., a wholly-owned entity of Omicron. Key personnel who designed this project are currently with GA Studio.
